GOVERNOR SINDH SYED MUHAMMAD NEHAL HASHMI VISITS CHINESE CONSULATE IN KARACHI, MEETS CONSUL GENERAL FENG DEHENG

Karachi, September 6: Governor Sindh Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi paid an important visit to the Chinese Consulate in Karachi, where Chinese Consul General Feng Deheng and senior officials of the Consulate warmly welcomed him.

During the meeting, the two sides held detailed discussions on Pakistan-China relations, regional security, peace, and avenues for enhancing mutual cooperation. Governor Sindh said that the Pak-China friendship is a timeless example of both countries standing by each other in difficult times. He emphasized that close cooperation between Pakistan and China has assumed even greater significance in view of the prevailing regional situation.

Speaking about regional and global peace, Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi said that war and confrontation are not the solution to any problem, adding that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only sustainable path towards lasting peace. He reiterated that Pakistan will continue to play its positive and constructive role for peace, stability and reduction of tensions in the region.

The Governor Sindh further said that Pakistan is keen to benefit from China’s advanced technology, expertise and experience in various fields. He said that the Makkah Agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye reflects the shared commitment to peace, stability and collective security.

On the occasion, Chinese Consul General Feng Deheng highly appreciated Pakistan’s key role in promoting peace and stability in the region. He said that China seeks to further strengthen its time-tested and all-weather friendship with Pakistan.

The Consul General expressed China’s commitment to further expanding cooperation with Pakistan in the fields of technology, trade, development and other areas of mutual interest. He also underscored the importance of continued close coordination between the two countries for regional peace, stability and prosperity.
