Saeed Ghani says Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman develops incurable phobia of PPP after losing Karachi mayoral poll
Karachi : Sindh Labour and Human Resources Minister, Saeed Ghani, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi chief, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, after losing the Karachi mayoral election has developed an incurable phobia of the Pakistan People’s Party.
In a statement issued on Tuesday in response to the JI leader’s press conference, Ghani mentioned that former president Asif Ali Zardari deserved the credit for the ouster of former prime minister Imran Khan from power.
He said the People’s Party had always vocally taken up the issue of power load-shedding in Sindh.
Ghani, who is also PPP Karachi President, said the JI leader had been suffering from mental health issues after seeing rise in the popularity of the People’s Party. He said that Hafiz Naeem had been highly upset after he lost the Karachi mayoral election.
He said the JI had emerged as the “B-team” of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf while Hafiz Naeem was on the payroll of the PTI. “Hafiz Naeem shouldn’t have shown hatred against the natives of Sindh if he had to become the Karachi mayor. Now The extraordinary show of concern by him for Sindhis is of no use,” he said
