Ships intercepted a suspicious boat and recovered narcotics from concealed compartments during a boarding operation.

Rawalpindi, 26 September, 2026 : Pakistan Navy Ships HUNAIN and YARMOOK seized over 2,800 kg of narcotics worth approximately USD 750 million during a joint counter-narcotics operation in the Arabian Sea.

While on routine patrol, the ships intercepted a suspicious boat and recovered narcotics from concealed compartments during a boarding operation.

Admiral Naveed Ashraf, NI, NI (M), T Bt, Chief of the Naval Staff, commended the officers and crew for their professionalism and vigilance, reaffirming Pakistan Navy’s commitment to maritime security and combating illicit trafficking at sea.
